Photoshopped: Damaged Vintage Photo

FOR THE retirement program of one of our regional supervisors, who was also instrumental to the creation of the school where I teach now, I was asked to make a presentation to be shown during the program.

Most of the pictures were already very old and some of them were already damaged. I’d like to show you one picture that I edited:




It’s the work of background eraser with tolerance set at 30, eraser tool of low hardness, clone and healing tools, saturation, contrast and levels adjustments, and gradient overlay for the background. I also added an outerglow effect because the hair made it difficult to erase the white background completely.

This photo will also appear on the photo-cake the alumni will give her.
