WE WENT to Barangay Paraiso this morning for a tree-planting activity. Paraiso means Paradise. It is part of the 4,701-hectare Calminda Watershed. An agro-forestry model project is located there.

Aside from planting trees, the team also distributed food and some candies for the kids there. Waiting in the queue was this girls who already bathed in sweat due to the very hot weather. The kids had to walk uphill about half a kilometer through a dirt road under the heat of the sun to for the joy of eating snacks from the town below.
